Baked Blueberry French Toast
Nothing gets you out of bed faster than the smell of baked french toast. Ours is full of blueberries, ACE challah bread with a cinnamon brown sugar crumb topping. Already baked for you and ready to reheat. Great as breakfast item, snack or even dessert! Decadent enough for those special holiday mornings but we say what's wrong with Tuesday?
Portion: 9" round which cuts into 4 generous slices.
Ingredients: Challah bread (unbleached wheat flour, water, liquid whole eggs, sugar, durum wheat semolina, sunflower oil, liquid egg yolk, yeast, salt, malted barley flour), blueberries, unsalted butter, egg, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla
Heating Instructions: From frozen, remove lid and tent with foil. Bake in a 350F oven for 30-40 minutes, remove foil for last 10 minutes for a crunchy top. From thaw, follow above instructions but reduce reheating time to 15 minute.
