Beef & Guinness Pies


These Individual Beef & Guinness Pies are the perfect answer to winter's cold weather.  Traditional round 4" flaky puff pastry filled with the lean ground beef, Guinness beer and mushrooms (but we chopped them small so you mushroom haters won't notice!).  Fully baked and ready to reheat from frozen or thaw.  Serve with a green salad and it makes a perfect lunch or dinner.

Portion:  4" in diameter | Serves 1 but hearty eaters would eat 2 

Ingredients – puff pastry, lean ground beef, Guinness Beer, mushroom, onion, carrot, celery, beef stock, herbs, tomato paste, Dijon mustard, spices, salt, pepper

Heating Instructions – From frozen:  Remove outer wrapping but keep pie in aluminum base.  Place on a baking tray and reheat in a 375F oven for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.  From thaw: follow above instructions but reduce reheat time to 10-15 minutes.

Serving Tips:  Serve with a green salad or Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Apples & Pear and Baby Potatoes with Pesto.
