Lemon Mousse with Raspberry Grand Marnier Sauce

Light, refreshing, tart, sweet - this dessert hits all the notes as an outstanding Christmas dessert - especially after a big meal!  Our Lemon Mousse is served frozen with a decadent Raspberry Grand Marnier sauce spooned over top making it an easy, no fuss but special holiday dessert.  Serve it after any one of our Christmas Mains.

Ingredients:  Mousse (whipping cream, sugar, egg, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, cream of tartar) Raspberry Grand Marnier Sauce (Raspberries, sugar, Grand Marnier),  Candied lemon slices for garnish

Instructions:  Arrives frozen in a 6" x 8" tray ready to scoop or cut.  Keep mousse frozen until ready to serve.  Remove Raspberry Grand Marnier sauce from freezer the day before and thaw in refrigerator.  15 minutes before ready to serve, remove mousse from freezer to thaw slightly. 

Serving Option #1:  Spoon frozen mousse into 4 shallow bowls and top each with raspberry sauce.  Option to add a sprig of mint for garnish. 

Serving Option #2:  Cut frozen mousse into 4 squares.  Drizzle a little raspberry sauce onto 4 dessert plates.  Using a spatula or cake lifter place a square of frozen lemon mousse onto each plate and spoon additional raspberry sauce over top.  Option to add a sprig of mint for garnish
