Spinach & Cheese Calzone


A calzone is an Italian oven baked folded pizza - often called a pizza pocket or turnover!  This classic vegetarian version is stuffed with spinach, ricotta, mozzarella and marinara sauce.  Enjoy them for dinner with a green salad, lunch on their own or cut into halves or quarters for snack time! 

Our calzones are 8' wide making them a hearty meal for one or easily split between 2.  Fully baked and ready to reheat from thaw or frozen.

Dietaries:  Vegetarian.  Contains gluten and dairy

Ingredients:  Dough (Enriched Wheat Flour, Purified Water, Canola Oil, Yeast, Salt, Sugar, Baking Powder), baby spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce (tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, salt, pepper), onion, garlic, olive oil, pepper, salt

Heating Instructions:  Best to reheat from thaw.  Remove from freezer and thaw overnight in refrigerator.  Remove calzone from packaging and place on a baking sheet in a preheated 350F oven.  Reheat for 15-20 minutes.  

From Frozen - follow the above instructions but increase reheating time to 25-35 minutes.
