Vegan "Beef" & Guinness Pies


Our new Vegan "Beef" & Guinness Pies are delicious!   Made using Beyond Beef Ground Beef these traditional round individual 4" flaky puff pastry pies use the same recipe as our Beef & Guinness Pies but with vegan substitutions.  Fully baked and ready to reheat from frozen or thaw and reheat.  Serve with a green salad and it makes a perfect lunch or dinner.

Portion:  4" in diameter | Serves 1 but hearty eaters would eat 2 

Ingredients – Puff Pastry (unbleached enriched wheat flour, water, vegetable shortening (modified palm oil, canola oil, colour, citric acid), modified palm oil, sugar, salt, canadian wheat gluten, calcium propionate, dough conditioner (wheat starch, calcium carbonate, silicone dioxide, l-cysteine)., Beyond Beef Vegan Ground Beef (Water, pea protein*, expeller-pressed canola oil, refined coconut oil, rice protein, natural flavors, dried yeast, cocoa butter, methylcellulose, contains 1% or less: potato starch, salt, potassium chloride, beet powder color, apple extract, pomegranate concentrate, sunflower lecithin, vinegar, lemon juice concentrate, vitamins and minerals (zinc sulfate, niacinamide [vitamin B3], pyridoxine hydrochloride [vitamin B6], cyanocobalamin [vitamin B12], calcium pantothenate)., Guinness Beer, mushroom, onion, carrot, celery, vegetable stock, vegan worcestershire sauce (apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, dry mustard, onion powder, garlic, cinnamon, pepper)herbs, tomato paste, Dijon mustard, spices, salt, pepper, coconut milk


Heating Instructions – From frozen:  Remove outer wrapping but keep pie in aluminum base.  Place on a baking tray and reheat in a 375F oven for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.  From thaw: follow above instructions but reduce reheat time to 10-15 minutes.

Serving Tips:  Serve with a green salad or Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Apples & Pear and Baby Potatoes with Pesto.
